Skibeck Pipeline Projects

  • 15,000' LF of directionally drilled water crossings and 33,000' of open cut wetlands installed with 6 miles of field concrete coated pipe in Florida.

  • 62 miles of 24" rehabilitation project involved the complete hydrostatic testing of line, fabrication and installation of five mainline valves, one mainline drip, permanent launcher and receiver installation.  Intelligent pigging facilitated the locating of many spot replacements of pipeline and the repair of coating anomalies.  This job involved working on rugged terrain with 25 elevation manifolds being utilized.  Completed three weeks early without incident.

  • 50+ miles of 6", 4" and 2" steel gathering system, 80% woods to cut, rain 71 out of 93 working days needed to complete project.

  • 10 miles of 16" take up and relay project consisted of the removal of 3 existing lines, two 8" and one 12", replaced by a single 16" line.  Heavily wooded area, numerous water and road crossings.  Project started in mid-April and gas was flowing by the end of June despite unusually heavy spring rains.

  • 3.2 miles of 20" new pipeline project that consisted of mainly rock excavation and steep hills.  Creek crossing with limestone bottom and 12 depth was entirely drilled and shot.

  • 2,200' LF of 24" diameter .625 wall that was directionally drilled through a river crossing.  Pipe was strung, welded, internally coated, pulled back under river, hydrostatic tested and tied-in by company crews.
